# eng.rip > eng.rip documents a family of small Rust tools. Developers use them with coding agents and keep issues, notes, and docs in the repository. Page links open Markdown twins. They are grouped by Diátaxis type: Tutorials, How-to guides, Reference, and Optional. Optional holds explanation pages and may be skipped. The final `## Tools` section links to each tool site's `llms.txt`. Each tool installs separately; the reference page or its site's `llms.txt` gives package names. ## Tutorials - [Set up a repository with tisket, zettel, diataxis, and gaff](https://eng.rip/set-up-a-repository.md): Keep issues, notes, and docs in git, then watch a commit hook refuse a broken page. ## How-to guides - [How to check issues, notes, and docs before a commit](https://eng.rip/how-to-check-issues-notes-and-docs-before-a-commit.md): Run store checks through a git hook and reuse the gates in CI. - [How to keep an issue's research in notes](https://eng.rip/how-to-keep-an-issues-research-in-notes.md): Link an issue to its research notes and review agent findings before using them. - [How to serve issues, notes, and skills over MCP](https://eng.rip/how-to-serve-issues-notes-and-skills-over-mcp.md): Connect an MCP client to repository stores with read access by default. - [How to share notes, issues, and docs across repositories](https://eng.rip/how-to-share-notes-issues-and-docs-across-repositories.md): Declare another store, link to its notes, and check what each tool can see. - [How to vendor agent skills with almanac](https://eng.rip/how-to-vendor-agent-skills-with-almanac.md): Inspect and pin a skill library, then check it for drift. ## Reference - [Tools](https://eng.rip/tools.md): Commands, packages, storage paths, and root resolution for the eng.rip tools. ## Optional - [Why plain files in the repository](https://eng.rip/why-plain-files-in-the-repository.md): How repository files carry work and context through a coding agent's sessions. ## Tools - [tisket](https://tisket.eng.rip/llms.txt): Issues as markdown files tracked in git. - [zettel](https://zettel.eng.rip/llms.txt): Linked repository notes with provenance for each span of text. - [diataxis](https://diataxis.eng.rip/llms.txt): Typed markdown documentation with checks for structure and links. - [gaff](https://gaff.eng.rip/llms.txt): Context re-injection for coding agents and git hook checks. - [almanac](https://almanac.eng.rip/llms.txt): Agent skill libraries with pinned sources and indexes sized to a byte budget. - [missouri](https://missouri.eng.rip/llms.txt): CLI tests defined by filesystem states and shell commands. - [tundish](https://tundish.eng.rip/llms.txt): Local SQLite queues that deliver program output to agents through hooks.
